Built by a franchise consultant, for franchisors
FranchiseMS did not come out of a software company looking for a market. It came out of the day-to-day work of advising franchise businesses, and one problem that kept coming up.
Why FranchiseMS exists
In most franchise networks, the royalty a franchisee owes is worked out from a figure the franchisee reports themselves. That invites two problems: under-reporting quietly shrinks the fee the franchisor is owed, and every month brings reconciliation queries and disputes.
FranchiseMS was built to remove that. It calculates royalty from real operational data, the completed jobs, recorded sales, chair takings and card payments the platform already captured, and shows the working on every statement. The fee follows the work that actually happened, so there is nothing left to argue about.
Who builds it
FranchiseMS is built by Steve Lee, a UK franchise consultant. Trading as The Franchise Consultant, Steve advises businesses on whether and how to franchise, and works with established networks on running them well. He is the author of Bought In, a book about getting franchisees genuinely committed to the brand they represent.
That consulting work is where the idea for the platform came from: it is the system Steve wanted to put in front of the networks he advises, running head office and every unit on one model rather than a stack of disconnected tools and spreadsheets.
What we believe
Standards should be defined once, taught, and enforced as one loop, not scattered across documents nobody reads. Pricing should be published, not hidden behind a sales call. And a franchisor and their franchisees should work from the same numbers, because trust between them is what makes a network grow.
The company
